Jose Marti Scholarship Fund
We are following a long tradition established by our forefathers in Cuba celebrating Jose Marti. Since the State of Israel was founded Cubans and Cuban Jews have followed Martis words of freedom and tolerance and build forest, gave funds and established water reservoirs in Israel some under the name of Jose Marti. The tradition continues in Miami and for the last two years we have celebrated Martis contribution with academic conferences and have recently established a Scholarship fund to assist Senior High School students to continue their education. The scholarship are to be awarded by a competitive theme ever year on Marti's writings and ideas for universal values.

DONATIONS
Making a donation to CHCM is a perfect way to honor a joyous occasion like a birthday, anniversary, wedding, engagement, new home ,job change, or retirement. It is also appropriate to honor someone who has passed away. All donations to the Temple are tax deductible. You can choose where you would like your donation to be applied.
GENERAL FUNDS
Any donation that is not specified goes to the General Fund, which helps maintain the operating budget of the temple. Building expenses, insurance, staff salaries and all program expenses that are not underwritten come out of the General Fund.
RABBI’S DISCRETIONARY FUND
This separate tzedakah fund enables to make confidential contributions to help individuals and causes that may be in crises. The Rabbi may also use the fund to help support unbudgeted programs that will benefit the temple or community.
PROGRAM FUNDS
The fund supports special dynamic programing often related to the arts; dance, music, opera as well as lecture programing.
LEGACY GIVING SOCIETY
CHCM Legacy Giving Society is a group of visionary donors who have committed themselves to the future of the Cuban Hebrew Congregation.
TECHNOLOGY FUND
This fund helps support the technology needs of CHCM including computers, screens and cameras and will help with our virtual programming.
